Wilson leaves Rangers to become Chief Football Officer at Forest

ROSS WILSON has left Rangers after three-and-a-half years to become Chief Football Officer at Nottingham Forest.
The Scot is one of the most experienced football leaders in Britain, having held senior positions at Southampton, Huddersfield, Watford and Falkirk.
At Forest he will replace Filippo Giraldi, who was sacked as Sporting Director by the club this week. Forest also have a Director of Football in Kiriakos Dourekas, who is a long-standing associate of owner Evangelos Marinakis, having worked under him at Olympiakos for more than 20 years.
Wilson started his career at Falkirk and moved to Watford and Huddersfield Town before joining Southampton in 2015, initially as Director of Scouting and Recruitment and then Director of Football Operations.
During his time as Sporting Director at Rangers the club won their first league title in 10 years and also reached the final of the UEFA Europa League the following season.
