Walker leaves Man Utd after 11 years to join MLS

GARY WALKER, Manchester United’s Head of Strength and Conditioning, is leaving the club after 11 years to move to the MLS.
TGG understands that Walker has landed a job as Director of Sports Performance at FC Cincinnati. He first joined United in March 2008 as strength and conditioning coach before being promoted to Head S&C in July 2010.
Walker tweeted: “All good things must come to an end. After 11 years, the time has come to leave this great club. I’ve had some amazing experiences at Man Utd and made some incredible friends and memories.
"A huge thank you to all of the managers, staff and players that I have worked with. I wish Ole and the lads all the best for the end of the season and huge success in the future. Now onto the next challenge.”
Walker joined United from the English Institute of Sport, where he was a physiologist.
