MATHEW PEARSON has been promoted to the new role of Head of Performance and Analysis by Wolves.

Pearson joined the club as an Academy analyst in February 2017 and was promoted to first-team performance analysis six months later.

In his new role, he will lead on all analysis processes within the first team, with a heavy emphasis on opposition analysis for pre-match preparation. For the first time, he will also lead on research, which will include work on playing performance, style and shape, both of Wolves and opposition teams.
