Lead Performance Analyst Andy Blake has left Leicester City after 16 years’ service.
Blake joined the Foxes in July 2008 and was responsible for pre-match analysis of opponents; matchday capture, coding and feedback; and post-match analysis.
He has now joined wearable tech and video analysis firm Catapult as their Product Manager, Football.
Writing on LinkedIn, Blake said: “I am incredibly proud to have been part of such an exciting and (mostly) successful period in the club’s history. The environment around the club is truly unique - instilled by the King Power family, and upheld by the brilliant people working throughout the club.
“While leaving will be difficult, I believe this is the right time to embrace an exciting new career opportunity. Although in a different capacity, I will still be working in the domain of football analysis, so I hope to stay connected with many of the people I've met over the years.”
Steve Cooper arrived as Leicester’s new manager earlier in the summer and brought in Steve Rands in as coach-analyst. Peter Clark is the club's First Team Performance Analyst and Matthew Edge is their Set Piece Analyst.
