Leeds sack Heckingbottom assistants and Vio goes too

LEEDS UNITED have sacked Head of Sport Science Nathan Winder, first-team coach Jamie Clapham and performance analyst Alex Bailey following the firing of manager Paul Heckingbottom, while set piece specialist Gianni Vio has not had his contract renewed.
Winder, Clapham and Bailey all arrived from Barnsley along with Heckingbottom in February. However, the quartet have all been fired following a run of just four wins from their 16 games.
Italian Vio, who has worked for Fiorentina, AC Milan and Brentford, was appointed in October until the end of the season. He introduced some innovative routines, but it has been decided not to extend his contract with a new manager due to be appointed shortly.
