Mudd replaces Walker as U23s assistant at Manchester City

CRAIG MUDD has replaced Danny Walker as Under-23s assistant at Manchester City, with Jamie Carr stepping up from the U14s to become assistant with the U18s.

Mudd has been with City for a decade, moving through the age groups from U7s. The coach has been City's U15s lead since July 2020.

He will assist U23s Lead Brian Barry-Murphy and replaces Danny Walker, who left the club earlier this summer having worked with the U9s, 10s, 12s, 14, 15s, 16s, 18s and 23s.

Meanwhile, Carr has stepped up from U14s Lead to assist Ben Wilkinson with the U18s.

Carr, who is currently in the midst of an amazing double challenge for charity, has been with City since July 2018, first as U13s Lead and then leading the U14s. Calum McFarlane, who was U18s assistant last season, is now U15s Lead at the club.

Phil Bannister has moved from U14s assistant to lead the age group, while Callum Tongue has moved from the U11s to become U12s Lead, replacing Adam Temple, who was appointed assistant at Barrow earlier this summer.
