BRENDAN RODGERS has taken Glen Driscoll, Chris Davies and Kolo Toure with him from Celtic to form part of his Leicester City backroom staff.
Davies has been appointed assistant manager, Driscoll as fitness coach and Toure as first-team coach. All three men have long associations with the new Foxes boss.
Davies was Rodgers' youth team captain at Reading. The former Wales Under-19 international went on to complete a sport and exercise science degree at Loughborough University and spent three years working for Bobby Gould at Hawkes Bay in New Zealand.
He linked up again with Rodgers at Swansea City, where he was a performance analyst. They moved together to Liverpool, where Davies was assistant first team coach, and Celtic, where he became assistant manager.
Driscoll is one of the most experienced figures in the football performance world. He worked with Rodgers at Reading, before joining the first team staff at Chelsea for eight years from 2003 to 2011, under managers including Jose Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti.
He was reunited with Rodgers at Liverpool, where he became Head of Science, and then joined Celtic as Head of Performance.
Toure, who was part of the Arsenal Invincibles side, played under Rodgers at Liverpool and Celtic. He was appointed to the coaching staff at Celtic Park in September 2017.
