ASSISTANT Matt Wells, goalkeeper coach Rob Burch and analyst Jonathan Hill have left Bournemouth following the dismissal of manager Scott Parker.

The former England international was sacked a week ago - three days after the 9-0 Premier League defeat by Liverpool.

Parker brought Wells, Burch and Hill with him to Bournemouth in June 2021, having preciously worked with the trio for Fulham and Tottenham Under-18s.

The other two members of staff he brought with him to the club - Head of Performance Alastair Harris and Lead Physical Performance Coach Charlie Moore - have remained in their posts.

First-team coach Gary O'Neil, who arrived at the club under previous manager Jonathan Woodgate in February 2021, has taken over from Parker as interim manager, assisted by development squad coaches Shaun Cooper and Tommy Elphick.

The Cherries have drawn 0-0 with Wolves and come back from 2-0 down to beat Nottingham Forest in O’Neill’s two games in charge.
