Training Ground Guru launching new podcast

TRAINING GROUND GURU is launching a new monthly podcast in association with video and analysis experts Hudl.

The show goes behind the scenes in professional football, offering the latest insights from top coaches and practitioners. Our opening episode airs this Thursday, April 4th, and features a round table with former Birmingham, Derby and Stoke manager Gary Rowett, his Head of Analysis, Joe Carnall, and Head of Performance, Dave Carolan.

The trio reveal the secrets of their roles, the inside track on their careers in football and how they work together as a cohesive team. The Training Ground Guru podcast will be available on all major streaming platforms, including iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, Stitcher and Acast.

Sam Lloyd, Hudl’s Vice President of Elite Sports, said: “We are excited about our first involvement in podcasting and using this platform to bring thought-provoking content to the industry.

“Following the creation of our blog series, the launch of Hudl, The Newsletter and the publication of Hudl, The Magazine, developing a podcast with The Training Ground Guru was the next logical step.

“Training Ground Guru provides great insight into the world of football, and we are excited to partner with a show that is as passionate about high-performance and sports analytics as we are.”

The podcast will be presented by Training Ground Guru editor Simon Austin and produced by Josh Schneider-Weiler.
