TGG LIVE: Cohesive Coaching

WE’RE excited to announce the first TGG Live, led by the highly-respected former England rugby head coach Brian Ashton.

Cohesive Coaching, a half-day event in Manchester’s Spinningfields on June 20th, will provide insights into how the different elements of a modern management team - coaching, medical, science and analytics - can work together as a live unit during a training session.

Football club staffs have expanded exponentially in recent years, but all too often the different disciplines work independently of one another. Working together holistically within a single training session is fundamental to success. This event will feature top practitioners from different disciplines as well as a live panel discussion.

Brian Ashton was the last coach to lead England to a Rugby World Cup final and his expertise is sought by clients including Manchester United and the Premier League.

“I’ve been a devotee of integrated coaching and management for some time," Ashton said.

"This enables training sessions to cover technical, tactical, physical and mental elements in a holistic way.

"This is hugely beneficial for players and makes staff feel more valued and accepted.”

Further details about the event, which is being held in association with WAKTU, the provider of elite sports training camps in the Lake District, will be revealed on this website in the coming weeks.
