Round, Stuivenberg & Pavon join Arsenal coaching staff

NEW manager Mikel Arteta has named his coaching staff at Arsenal, with assistants Steve Round and Albert Stuivenberg, and keeper coach Inaki Cana Pavon joining the club.
Freddie Ljungberg, who stood in as caretaker manager before Arteta was appointed on December 20th, remains as assistant.
Round has coached with Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Everton, Manchester United and England and was also Director of Football at Aston Villa for two years.
Stuivenberg worked alongside Louis van Gaal at Manchester United and has been a manager in his own right, at Genk in Belgium. He will continue as assistant manager of the Wales national team alongside Ryan Giggs until the end of Euro 2020.
Pavon has joined as goalkeeping coach from Brentford, where he has worked since the summer of 2018. He previously worked with FC Nordsjælland in Denmark and ran his own Academy in Barcelona. Sal Bibbo will continue as the other first-team goalkeeper coach.
Arteta said: "I am delighted to have this talented group of coaches alongside me. They bring a great mix of experience and fresh thinking. Along with the talented people we have in the club already they will be key people to get us back to winning ways."
