HUDDERSFIELD Sporting Director Olaf Rebbe, who was only appointed by the club last May, has left by mutual consent.
In a statement, Huddersfield said: "The club wants to make a fresh start as it searches for its next head coach, following the recent departure of David Wagner, and this parting of ways has been agreed as the best for everyone concerned.
Chief Executive Julian Winter added: “We thank Olaf for his service and wish him all the best for the future.”
Chairman Dean Hoyle and Winter will work with Head of Recruitment Josh Marsh on first team matters in the short term.
Rebbe, who ultimately replaced David Moss, who departed in October 2017 after just four months as Director of Football Operations, had previously spent six years with German side Wolfsburg before moving to the Premier League.
