Physio Parham leaves Arsenal as medical team takes on new look

ARSENAL physio Tim Parham is leaving the club after two years and returning to his native Australia.
He tweeted: “Sadly my time at Arsenal has come to an end. Huge thanks to the staff & players who put their trust in me & the process. Lifelong friendships forged & memories made. It’s bittersweet to be leaving but excited for what the future holds for my young family & I back in Oz #COYG.”
This means that the three physios brought to the club by former Head of Performance Darren Burgess in 2018 as part of a radical overhaul of Arsenal's medical department have now left.
Chris Morgan left at the end of last season to return to Liverpool and Paulo Barreira exited in May and is now with Sporting Lisbon in Portugal. Parham had previously worked with Burgess at Port Adelaide in the AFL.
Jordan Reece, who stepped up from the Academy under Burgess, has been promoted to Head Physio ahead of the 2020/21 season.
The other first-team physio is Ricky O'Donoghue, who joined from Crystal Palace in the summer. That leaves the Gunners short and needing another couple of medical personnel, who are set to be appointed in the coming weeks.
