Higgins returns to Burnley to become Assistant Head of Coaching

ASH HIGGINS has returned to Burnley after 18 months with Liverpool to become their Assistant Head of Coaching.
The Uefa A Licence holder was Foundation Phase Lead for the Clarets for two years before being appointed Under-11s lead by Liverpool in September 2019.
Now he has returned to the Barnfield Training Centre to assist Head of Coaching Ian Jones and will also resume his former duties as Foundation Phase Lead.
Meanwhile, former Clarets midfielder Ross Wallace, who made 165 appearances for the club between 2010 and 2015, has been appointed Individual Technical Development Coach in the Youth Development Phase until the end of the season.
The former Scotland international represented clubs including Celtic and Sunderland during his playing career and is now looking to move into coaching full-time.
Finally, Richard Geoghegan has moved from being part-time to full-time Assistant Youth Development Phase coach.
