KEN GILLARD has been appointed as Arsenal's permanent Under-18s boss, completing the club's Academy coaching set-up.
Gillard, who joined from Crystal Palace in September 2016, stepped up on an interim basis to replace Kwame Ampadu in October last year and his team have since gone on to win the Premier League southern section.
Arsenal have revamped their Academy coaching set-up in the last year. Former MK Dons manager Dan Micciche has taken charge of the U15s, ex-Hull City Head of Academy Coaching Adam Pilling has joined to lead the U13s and Lewis Goater arrived from Reading to take the U9s.
Lee Herron, who had been at Reading for 17 years, was announced as Football Operations Manager at Arsenal's Academy in January 2018 and works closely with Gunners Academy Manager Per Mertesacker.
