Edge competition: Winners announced
Written by Simon Austin — September 22, 2017
WE had a fantastic response to our competition to win a free copy of Ben Lyttleton's brilliant new book Edge.
The question was as follows:
One of the chapters in the book addresses how to manage a maverick and inspired us to write this piece. Which coach is quoted as saying the following...?
"Geniuses aren’t always easy people to live with. But their contributions produce such a jump in quality that they deserve the collective hard work and support. There is a transaction between the genius and the team - this genius will make me better and help me win a World Cup."
A. Thomas Tuchel
B. Didier Deschamps
C. Jorge Valdano
D. Graham Potter
The answer, of course, was C and the 10 lucky winners are:
- Tim Laver (Bathford)
- James Walsh (Chesterfield)
- Luke Cheyne (Coventry)
- Tim Hallas (Harrogate)
- Mike Taylor (Swindon)
- Akin Lord (Carlton-Le-Moorland)
- Gareth Cottiss (Hertford)
- Imtiaz Janjua (Coventry)
- Ashvir Johal (Leicester)
- Demetris Kyprianou (Bushey)
Hope you enjoy the book!
