CRYSTAL PALACE Head Physio Ed Richmond has left the club after five-and-a-half years to join Leicester City.

Richmond joined the Eagles in August 2016 and was promoted to Head Physio two years later. His replacement at Palace is the experienced James Haycock, who previously worked for Arsenal for three years and, for the last seven months, for Newcastle United.

Leicester have a relatively new medical department. Following the exit of Dave Rennie - who had been Head Physio for more than 20 years and is now at Bristol City - in August 2020, Dr Bryan English has joined as first-team physician and Jonny King and now Richmond as physios.

Palace have also revamped their medical department, under the leadership of Head of Sports Medicine Zaf Iqbal. Haycock has joined as Head Physio, with Harry Bearman as Rehab Coach and Oliver Waite and Nick Taylor as physios.

Michael Eglon has been promoted to Head of Sport Science, having previously been a Strength and Conditioning Coach. He replaces Scott Guyett, who left last August after 11 years to return to his native Australia with Brisbane Roar.

Jamie Goldsmith is Head of S&C, with Frazer Findlay and Ben Smalley (recently joined from QPR) as S&C coaches. Cedric Leduc, formerly of PSG and Leeds Beckett University, has been appointed as the GPS analyst. Lead S&C Chris Petrie, physio Sam Townsley and Jake Kemp have all left.
