Charlton Athletic have unveiled a new-look first-team staff after Paul Hart stepped down as Nathan Jones’ assistant.
Hart joined the League One club in February, having previously worked alongside Jones at Luton Town and Stoke City.
"Nathan has an excellent staff and structure around him and I have no doubt that there is an exciting future for the club under him," Hart said. "With that in mind, I felt the time was right for me to step away from the day-to-day nature of the role and the travel that entails to allow me to spend more time with my family."
Jones added: "Paul has been a massive influence on my career since the time I met him in 2012. He’s someone I’ve kept by my side for a long, long time. He’s been through almost every situation in football, so as I was embarking on my managerial career it was vital I had someone that I could trust and someone who cared about my development.
"Paul is not just a mentor now, he’s one of my closest - if not my closest - friend. I’ll continue to lean on him.”
Curtis Fleming replaces Hart as Assistant Manager at Charlton. The former Middlesbrough player joined the club in January and was soon Interim Head Coach following Michael Appleton's departure.
Fleming has previously coached at Middlesbrough, Livingston, Crystal Palace, Bolton, Hartlepool United, QPR and Bristol City, and was manager of Punjab FC in India.
James Brayne, who joined from Birmingham City’s Academy in March, has been promoted to Set Piece and First-Team Coach, having previously been Individual Development Coach for the Addicks.
Meanwhile, Luke Sanders has come in from Luton Town (where he held the same position) as Head of Sports Science. He replaces Josh Hornby, who has has gone the other way to take Sanders’ role at Luton.
There has been another arrival from Luton in Elliott Plant, who becomes Strength and Conditioning Coach, having held the same role for the Hatters. He replaces Connor Derbidge, who has joined Plymouth Argyle as Head of Sports Science.
